It is very clear that last year’s Note 7 fires could not have done any much damage, as the manufacturer was quick to react with the Galaxy S8 earlier this year, and now with the Note 8 – a perfect replacement. The Note 8 announcement comes with a theme of “Do bigger things”, and the rumoured specs include; A 6.3-inch screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 835, 3300 mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, Dual cameras, and an S-Pen. Samsung is employing a thin battery – thinner than the Galaxy S8+ – despite having a larger screen; particularly in the interest of not repeating the misfortunes that the Note 7 came with. The S-Pen does not miss on this, with a need to create a distinct difference between the Note and S series. The Note series is always defined by its unique software, and there is a rumoured inclusion of split-screen multi-tasking that is made easier than ever on the Note 8. It is only a question of thought whether buyers will look out for the better in this.
